これは今と昔の御話。	This is a story of both the present and long ago
ここは人々の記憶の彼方に誕生し、今では忘れ去られた辺境の地。 時の流れの傍らに放り出されたその姿は、 どこか懐かしく且つ新味なものであった。	This is a place born on the other side of people's memories, now a forgotten frontier. The form released beside the flow of time, was deeply missed somewhere and a novelty in addition.
これは現実でない世界での御話。	This is a story of a world that doesn't exist.
この国は人と人でない者とが共に棲む場所。 今では見なくなったモノも、 きっとこの場所でなら目にすることが出来るだろう。	This country is a place where both humans and non-humans live together.　 Here one may be able to see, things which have disappeared from sight.
これは人とそうでない者との御話。	This is a story of humans and non-humans.
そこに連れ攫われた、或いは囚われたヒト。 この時この国に、様々なヒトが新たに足を踏み入れていた。	There are also people who were swept away here, or who were captured. At this time, many new people are stepping foot into this country.
これはそのヒト達の御話。	This is a story about those people.
無限の縁と夢幻の理とが連なった地。 彼の地をヒトは无現里(むげんり)と呼んだ。	This is a land filled with limitless relations and illusionary logic. People call the land "Mugenri".
これは失われてしまった御話。	This is a story that was lost.
意図して捨て去られた過去と現在、そして未来によって、 小鳥達はとうの昔に鳥篭から飛び去っていた。	Due to the past and present that were intentionally thrown away, and also the future, the little birds flew out of the birdcage from long ago.
これは単なる御伽噺。	This is merely a fairy tale.
